Written for the experienced compiler or operating systems programmer, this manual focuses on the Pentium(R) Pro architecture. It describes the operating system support environment of the Pentium Pro family of processors including memory management, protection, task management, interrupt and exception handling, and system management mode. It also describes the opcode structure and requirements for compiler writers.
